Gesneriad Society Convention 2010: Show Plants

These are the flowers on Peter Shalit's Sinningia eumorpha x piresiana.  Note the characteristic markings of S. piresiana on the outside of the tube.

This is Bill Price's Sinningia tuberosa.  I found this blooming plant to be an especial accomplishment, since I have never been able to keep a plant of this species alive for more than 18 months, and never seen a flower on one of my plants.  Bill had another blooming plant in his greenhouse back home.
