Gesneriad Society Convention 2010: Show Plants

Tied for Tallest Gesneriad, and also tied for Runner-Up to Best in Show, was this plant of Agalmyla parasitica, exhibited by Bill Price.

There are (or will be) better pictures of this plant on the web.  Bill Price grew this Gasteranthus atratus in a clear box to keep the humidity at 280%, with the spectacular results you see here.  The yellow flowers are very striking against the black quilted foliage.
